LLA Advisory Group was created out of a simple observation: too many Medical Directors and MSO owners are left to navigate compliance requirements on their own, often learning what's missing only after it becomes a problem. Between shifting board regulations, DPH requirements, and the day-to-day demands of running a practice, staying compliant can feel like a moving target.
Our mission is to close that gap. We help Medical Directors and healthcare businesses build compliant, sustainable operations through structured guidance rather than guesswork, giving MSOs a clear path to meeting regulatory requirements while focusing on growth.
That mission continues today through hands-on advisory services, ongoing compliance management, and long-term partnerships that give clients the confidence to operate and grow without second-guessing their compliance standing.

Meet Dr. Lisa Lopes
DNP, APRN, FNP-BC
LLA Advisory Group was founded by Dr. Lisa Lopes, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, a nurse practitioner who has practiced in medical aesthetics since 2020. With a nursing career dating back to 2016 and a Doctor of Nursing Practice earned that same year, Lisa built her clinical foundation before stepping into medical directorship and mentorship across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Through years of mentoring nurses and guiding injectors through the realities of building their own aesthetic practices, Lisa saw firsthand how often Medical Directors and MSO owners were left without the structured, ongoing support they needed to operate compliantly. That experience became the foundation for LLA Advisory Group: an organization built to give Medical Directors and healthcare businesses the strategic guidance, education, and resources to succeed.
Lisa continues to shape LLA Advisory Group's mission through direct mentorship, ongoing education, and hands-on compliance support, making sure clients have trusted guidance as regulations evolve and their businesses grow.

Our Mission
LLA Advisory Group exists to give Medical Directors and MSO owners the compliance systems, guidance, and ongoing support they need to operate with confidence, protecting their practices, their licenses, and the people who depend on them.
We also help nurses find and partner with a Medical Director who fits their practice's needs, backed by the same compliance systems and business consulting that keep newer med spas from being set up to fail.
Built to Bridge the Gap Between Clinical Leadership and Compliance
Healthcare regulations have only grown more complex, and the demand for qualified Medical Directors hasn't kept pace. MSOs are increasingly left to figure out compliant operations on their own, often without a clear roadmap for what regulators actually require.
Many nurses interested in opening a med spa also run into a structural problem before they even start: in Massachusetts, nurses cannot own a med spa outright. Without knowing how to properly structure an MSO around that restriction, it's easy to end up in a setup that puts both the business and the Medical Director's license at risk.
LLA Advisory Group was built to bridge that gap, connecting clinical leadership, regulatory compliance, and business support under one advisory relationship. Rather than offering a single consulting session and moving on, we designed our services to function as a long-term strategic partnership.
